The recent Institute of Directors Jersey Awards ceremony saw Fiona Vacher, our Executive Director awarded with the IoD Jersey Third Sector Director of the Year Award. Celebrating Fiona’s remarkable leadership and dedication to the Jersey Child Care Trust (JCCT).
Fiona attributed the honour to the collective efforts of the entire team, emphasizing the invaluable contributions of staff, trustees, and volunteers. She remarked, “This is recognizing the hard work, knowledge, skill and care from an entire team of staff, Trustees and volunteers all focused on giving children their best start in life. You’re all amazing! Keep on creating a haven of happiness.”
Acknowledging the finalists in the Third Sector category, Donna Abel of Jersey Cheshire Home and Marcus Calvani of Jersey Hospitality Association, Fiona extended her congratulations for their remarkable contributions to the Island and the Third Sector through their respective organizations.
The achievement was made possible in part by the generous sponsorship from Ravenscroft Group not only for the award but whose support ensured Fiona and Alice could attend the prestigious awards ceremony.
