We are thrilled to announce the launch of our tenth Anniversary Pirates and Princesses Fundraiser, inviting nurseries and child carers to join us in dressing up, learning new songs and signs, and raising money to give more children their best start in life.
Alice Bennion, our Programmes and Services Director, recently joined the children at Little Dragons Nursery, St George’s Preparatory School, for their special day. She said, “I loved joining the children and their teachers to lead their pirates and princesses story and sing and sign session. They all looked the part in their costumes, including the adults!”
Alice continues, “Whilst it is good fun to take part and everyone learns new signs and songs, the underlying message is that we want to give every child in Jersey their best start in life. With the money raised by the children being sponsored to take part, we are able to help more children who need our support.”
To ensure a successful Pirates and Princesses event, we have provided posters, sponsorship forms, stickers and many other resources. Additionally, we are happy to visit on the day and lead a themed story, singing and signing session with the children. We hope that every nursery in Jersey will participate to raise the vital funds needed to support more children.
