Fifty children and their parents joined us at Pip’s Place for two fun play sessions. The floors were decorated with coloured tapes to balance on, jump over, drive toy cars on and throw little beanbags into various shapes.
While parents chatted with each other over a steaming cup of tea, children enjoyed snacks and activities. When it was time to go home, each child was gifted a delicious Easter egg and a free bag of activities to do at home.
All the children that we support through our Programmes are usually seen enjoying themselves in nurseries across Jersey. Three times a year however, we invite children who access our Best Start Plus Nursery Funding Programme to enjoy a free play session like this with us.
It’s a super way of us hearing about how their time at nursery is going so we can share this impact with our funders.
