JCCT was funded by a group of Guernsey Funders to deliver four sessions to 50 different Guernsey charities recently to help them measure and tell others about the impact that they make.
Our Executive Director, Fiona, gave them an insight into how we apply an Outcomes Based Accountability approach to what we do so that we know the difference that we make. Designed as a two-part course, Mary Curtis from Calmera delivered part one as an introduction to what Outcomes Based Accountability is.
Joined on the last trip by our Guernsey based Trustee, Rob Thomson, Fiona also took the opportunity to visit Bright Beginnings, a Guernsey charity that provides a day nursery, children’s centre and café for children and families. Fiona said, “ It was interesting to hear how much we have in common with our peers in Guernsey. There was a mutual sharing of knowledge that benefited all! “
