Join us for an engaging seminar for early years educators, child care professionals or people who are simply passionate about children’s learning. Author, teacher and educational speaker, Charlotte Hacking, will be sharing her expertise on nurturing early literacy in 2-3 year olds.
Charlotte will explore creative, play-based strategies to inspire a lifelong love of reading and writing from the very beginning. Drawing on her award-winning book, The Balancing Act, and her research paper, The Double Helix of Reading and Writing, both co-authored with Professor Dominic Wyse, she will highlight what truly works in early literacy development.
The interactive session will offer:
- Practical evidence-based ideas for supporting young children’s literacy
- Creative approaches to reading and writing through play
- A showcase of the best books for very young children
