The Jersey Child Care Trust has appointed its new Chair, following a rigorous selection and recruitment process, overseen by the Appointments Commission. Phillip Callow has been appointed as the fourth Chairman to serve the charity as it approaches its 25th anniversary year next year. Phillip takes up the baton from Mrs Marnie Baudains who is retiring after serving three full terms; a total of nine years.
Phillip Callow is the Managing Director of Moore Stephens Audit and Assurance. With over 30 years’ financial services experience, he has also served as Chairman, Director, Company Secretary and Chief Executive of a number of organisations ranging from small private companies to international operations. Most notably, Phillip has served as the Chair of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Association of Jersey Charities.
Of being appointed, Phillip says “The JCCT performs incredible work in Jersey and I am excited and honoured to be able to work with Fiona, her team and the Board to continue to enhance the charity’s profile and engagement and to make life better for children living with adversity, here in Jersey”.
