RBC and Supertri join forces to bring back RBC Race for the Kids Jersey – Supporting JCCT

RBC Race for the Kids Jersey is returning on Sunday 21st September 2025, and this year, the Jersey Child Care Trust is honoured to be the official charity partner.

In partnership with Supertri, the global leader in short-course triathlon, this year’s event will be part of a spectacular weekend of sport and community celebration. The return of the Supertri Jersey marks the first elite triathlon event on the island in four years.

Hosted at Waterfront Gardens, RBC Race for the Kids Jersey is a fun, inclusive event for all ages and abilities. Whether you walk, jog, wheel, or scoot you can choose from a 2.5k, 5k, or brand new 10k route – all while raising vital funds to help us to give every child in Jersey the best start in life.

“We are deeply honoured that the Jersey Child Care Trust has been chosen as the beneficiary of RBC’s Race for the Kids event,” said Fiona Vacher, Executive Director of JCCT. “We can’t wait to see everyone taking part, stepping up to their own physical challenge, and raising money to help more children in Jersey. Let’s make this the biggest RBC Race for the Kids event ever!”

As Community Partner for the Supertri League race, RBC is helping to deliver a weekend that unites islanders around health, inclusion, and impact. Since its inception in 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has raised over C$100 million globally for youth-focused charities, with more than 470,000 participants across 29 cities.

“We are delighted to bring back RBC Race for the Kids to Jersey,” said David Bailey, COO, RBC Wealth Management. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and raise game-changing funds for an incredible charity – all while enjoying a fun, active event in Jersey’s beautiful surroundings.”

Supertri’s return will showcase the world’s best short-course triathletes in a fast-paced, broadcast-ready format, delivered in collaboration with the Government of Jersey to promote active living and international visibility.

“This partnership is a perfect match of world-class sport and community purpose,” said Michael D’hulst, Supertri Co-Founder and CEO. “Together, we’re showcasing Jersey on the global stage and creating an inclusive celebration of health, impact, and fun for everyone.”

At JCCT, we work everyday to ensure that all children in Jersey have access to the care, learning, and support they need to thrive. Your participation in this event will help us continue to deliver life-changing programmes for children and families across the island.
